LARC 3002 - Landscape Theory
3 Credit Hours
Discover contemporary theory and its application in landscape architecture. Examine theoretical discourse in landscape architecture; urban planning and urban design; urban, social, and cultural theory; ecological planning and design; environmental philosophy and environmental aesthetics; and design processes and sustainable development. Explore course material in a hybrid format, using pre-recorded lectures, videos, readings, and virtual discussions to engage with material and key concepts. Participants develop their critical analysis skills through weekly and term assignments.
